The Competition Details

  • Who Can Enter the Competition?

    Small to medium-sized businesses - with their primary or only office/facility, based in Singapore.

  • What Do You Need To Enter?

    Competition entries must include the following information:


    • Company name, address and contact details 
    • Business Description and why your business is different. (450 words max)
    • How your company relates to Environmental Social Governance (ESG)
    • And how you support social responsibility? (450 words max)
    •  Your vision for the future of your company - from an ESG, investment and growth perspective (450 words)

  • What Are The Timelines?

    Entries Open: 21 March 2022

    Closing Date: 25 April 2022

    Judging Period: 25 April 2022 to 6 May 2022

    Winner Announcement: 9 May 2022


  • What Does The Prize Package Entail?

    One winner of the inaugural ESG Excellence Awards will receive the following incredible prize that will support their business over the exciting year that lies ahead.


    1. Media Investment Prize! SGD5000 in social & traditional media activation to create awareness around your business
    2. Video! All writing, production, direction and filming for a 90 second corporate video to help you promote your company and the important work that you are doing in the area of ESG. The opportunity to tell your story on multiple channels and to impress your internal and external stakeholders. This is provided by the highly respected FilmsUnited.co
    3.  Media Release! All writing and dissemination of a Media Release issued by MBH and sent to a target media distribution list. The release will tell your ESG story and to receive the accolade that you deserve 
    4. Consulting! A consulting opportunity with the CEO of the MBH Corporation – Singapore based Callum Laing. Two one-hour entrepreneur consulting sessions held over a one-month period. We will set the important topics to discuss and you get the opportunity to spend time with the highly experienced Callum Laing.
    5. More Consulting! Victoria Sylvester, CEO, Acacia Training – and MBH Board Member. Victoria is a specialist in ESG, bringing value in this area to her own organisation, Acacia Training, and to other MBH Group companies. As the winner you will have the opportunity to partner with Victoria on your ESG strategy and tactics for the future
    6. Join The Team! The Opportunity to be one of the judges for the second ESG Excellence Awards that will take place next year in January 2023. You’ll sit alongside other experienced judges to analyse and select the next winner.

  • What Are The Rules & Regulations?

    1. The competition is open to all companies that are registered as a business in Singapore and whose principal business activities are in Singapore [i.e. more than 51% of business revenues derived Singapore]
    2. Each company can only submit one nomination and nominations are open between the period 21 March 2022 and 25 April 2022.
    3. The competition is free to enter and at no time will any request for payment be made
    4. A panel of four judges will determine the competition winner and the winner will be contacted directly and with winner announcement information listed on the MBH Corporation website and social media channels. The winner will be contacted no later than 9 May 2022. 
    5. If the winner has not acknowledged their award by 14 May 2022 then the company placed in second place by the judges will be notified as the replacement winner
    6. The winner selection is final 
    7. By entering the competition, all nominees agree that publicity featuring their company name, will be generated on MBH marketing channels
    8. All aspects of the prize [detailed in the competition announcement] need to have been utilised by the winner by 9 November 2022.
    9. No parts of the prize are transferable or able to be exchanged for different prizes
    10. MBH is a UK registered organisation and adheres to UK legal practices
